Far from seeming like one of those Democrats who act as though they were wishing this "conflict" (or whatever the hell you'd call it at this point) in Iraq became another Vietnam, I have to admit that now, with US soldiers being accused of warcrimes (among the various other factors), I can't rightly predict this situation turning out any better, i.e., any different. I hope the voters will remember whose war this was when election time comes around.
