I'm beginning to think that the people who create spyware aren't as much interested in collecting information for advertising purposes as they are in finding out how to fool Internet users to download their unwanted programs. For example, creating spyware that claims to be anti-spyware. What is the point? If someone goes so far out of their way to ensure they don't have these hidden program as to download anti-spyware, are they really offering such valuable personal information as to necessitate a doubly complex program? I just don't get it. Then again, I've never understood people in marketing. Or spying, for that matter.
