SPARKER ... The Blog

All the news that's fit to forget about.

What should the Green Party do in the upcoming presidential election? The Greens are hosting a public forum, "The Role of the Greens in the 2004 Presidential Election," to decide whether to run a candidate, endorse a Democrat or another candidate, or organize a "just say no" campaign. At this stage, I'm tempted to pull for a Dean endorsement (unless someone better crawls from under the woodwork). If Clark ran with Dean as his VP, and if they pulled off a Green Party endorsement, I could safely consider betting on Bush losing in '04. The more time passes, the more vulnerable Bush is looking. Anyway, if you're interested in attending, the forum will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2003, at 6pm at New York Law School (57 Worth Street in downtown Manhattan). Spread the word.
