I know, I know:  I have been rotten regarding the maintenance of this blog.  But, I promise, that will all soon change.  I've recently been offered a job as a writer for FactSet, a financial research company, which means I'll have a lot of free time of boredom at work during which I can blog all day long (just kidding!).  So check back soon, check back often.  The fun starts 2 August -- two days after my birthday.  And who said synchronicity was dead?
