SPARKER ... The Blog

All the news that's fit to forget about.

Despite their being my favorite team, I was still surprised that the Vikings soundly defeated the Seahawks yesterday afternoon. Of course, it helped that Shaun Alexander didn't start and Matt Hasselbeck suffered an injury early in the third.... Nevertheless, one can't overlook Chester Taylor's 95-yard scoring run or Brad Johnson's two TD passes. In all, the Vikes' offense won the game, not necessarily the lack of Seattle's. I can't wait for next Monday -- if Minnesota can beat the Pats, anything is possible.
